Drama Kids is not a newcomer to the Franchise 500 rankings, which includes only the best of the over 3000 franchise brands in the U.S.

“We are once again very honored and pleased that the nation’s top business magazine for current and aspiring small business owners has recognized our accomplishments and all that we offer our franchise owners. 2016 was our best year ever in terms of total unit expansion, existing franchise owner revenue increases and franchisee satisfaction,”• said Drama Kids’ President, Charlie Kerr. Kerr also noted that Drama Kids was the 3rd highest ranking children’s in-school afterschool program in this year’s ranking and has also been featured in Entrepreneur magazine’s Top Low Cost Franchises.

“We spend months gathering and crunching data in order to produce the Franchise 500 ranking. We’re proud of the result and the way it continues to be a resource for the franchise community,”• says Jason Feifer, editor in chief of Entrepreneur. “Like every industry, franchising is ever-evolving and must smartly react to new technologies and consumer demands. We know it takes a lot to stay competitive, and are excited to celebrate those that do it best.”

“In order to reflect the evolving business world at large, we at Entrepreneur continue to evolve our annual ranking, too,” says Ryan Shea, president of Entrepreneur. “We’ve developed new ways to measure and analyze our collected data as new critical data points come into play. We take into account pertinent factors such as social media presence and financing availability, which have become increasingly important in today’s economy. The result is a more complete and relevant Franchise 500® that can serve as a valuable resource for our readers.”

The key factors that go into Entrepreneur’s™ evaluation include costs and fees, size and growth, support, brand strength, and financial strength and stability. All franchises are given a cumulative score based on more than 150 data points, and the 500 franchises with the highest cumulative scores become the Franchise 500 in ranking order.

Over its 38 years in existence, the Franchise 500 has become both a dominant competitive measure for franchisors and a primary research tool for entrepreneurs. Drama Kids’ position on the ranking reinforces its strength in the industry.

Franchise Business Review gives Drama Kids high marks

Drama Kids International was recently named a top 50 franchise

Online PR News – 18-January-2017 – Drama Kids International was recently named a top 50 franchise by Franchise Business Review in its 2017 Top Franchises Report

Franchise Business Review, a national franchise market research firm that performs independent surveys of franchisee satisfaction, provides the only rankings of franchises based solely on actual franchisee satisfaction and performance. Franchise Business Review publishes its rankings of top franchises in it’s annual Guide to Today’s Top Franchises, as well as in special reports throughout the year that name the top franchises in specific sectors.

Drama Kids was ranked in the top 50 among 334 franchise brands, representing over 30,000 franchise owners, that participated in Franchise Business Review’s research, which was conducted between May 2015 and November 2016. Drama Kids’ franchisees were surveyed on 33 benchmark questions in the areas of financial opportunity, training and support, leadership, operations and product development, core values (e.g., honesty and integrity of franchisor), general satisfaction, and the franchisee community. An additional 16 questions asked franchisees about their market area, demographics, business lifestyle, overall enjoyment running their franchise, and role in the franchisee community.

The survey data showed the following:

Drama Kids was one of only 4 children’s developmental/enrichment and tutoring franchises in the Children’s Services category to make the list. The company’s overall satisfaction score exceeded the average score for all franchise brands surveyed, as well as the average score for all Children’s Services franchises. Ranking categories where Drama Kids scores exceeded the overall and Children’s Services averages include Franchise System, Leadership, Core Values, Franchisee Community, Financial Opportunity and General Satisfaction.

“We are very honored and pleased that the most respected franchise market research firm in the U.S. has identified Drama Kids as one of the 200 best franchises based on franchisee satisfaction” said Drama Kids

President, Charlie Kerr. “We are very fortunate to have an amazing group of franchise owners, and we work hard to provide excellent support, training and resources, while also continually listening to our franchise owners to determine how we can improve the system.” Kerr also noted that Drama Kids was once again named one of the top 500 franchise brands (among more than 3000 U.S. franchise brands) by Entrepreneur Magazine in its annual Franchise 500 edition published each January.

“Franchises that survey their franchisees realize that transparency and openness contributes to a trusting relationship,” says Eric Stites, CEO of Franchise Business Review. “Franchisee satisfaction ratings show you whether or not a franchise opportunity is really as good as it appears and fits your values and vision by providing insight into a system’s culture, training, leadership, financial outlook, franchisee community, and much more.”

Following are key findings on franchisees’ perceptions of franchising from Franchise Business Review’s overall research for it’s 2017 Top Franchises list.
